Student comments:

If your reading this you will probably be thinking, what is Mark like as a guitar tutor? This is the same question I asked myself. I have been a friend of Mark for several years so I knew how much he enjoyed playing the guitar and how much he loves music. Although I had never  picked up a guitar until a few months ago I knew I wanted to play but was never sure on how I wanted to learn.   Mark then spoke to me about how he would layout his lessons. One to one tuition, clear lesson plans, material to take home to learn and teaching songs you want to learn was very appealing. So I decided I would give it a try and although I get frustrated with some things due to my need  to master everything perfectly, I have enjoyed learning to play.  I have been told by other people who have learnt to play that their tutors rushed the development.

Coming to Mark's guitar lessons is really good, Mark explains what you are learning in a fun way. The lessons are really fun and time passes really quickly, I have learned lots of cool things that I like, I have heard and haven't heard. I am going to carry on going to Marks guitar lessons and hopefully learn some more cool things.

I have been going to Marks guitar lessons for just over six   months time has flown by.

Mark is not like this, he genuinely wants you to play the guitar to the best of your ability and trust me he does not judge you when you start shouting at yourself because you are struggling with something you expect to be easy (I do that a lot). In a couple of months I think I have been taught well as I can already read basic tab, play a couple of songs basic guitar techniques and a few scales. To be at this stage I have had to put in a lot of my own effort when practicing. If you are willing to do this I recommended you have lessons with Mark. If you ever start to struggle when you are practicing he does not mind you contacting him for help, unless you are me. He must be fed up with me as being friends we are always chatting and now he has to teach one of the most awkward people you could meet. Lol. Kelvin Davies, 19-09-2006 When I went to Mark for my first lesson I was feeling a bit apprehensive about it, I very soon discovered that there was no need to be. Mark put me to my ease immediately. He has a relaxed and friendly teaching style which really helps my learning.

What I like most about Mark is his love of all types of music, he's really motivated and enthusiastic, which in turn has motivated me to want to learn even more.

If your serious about wanting to play guitar give Mark a ring, honestly he's great.
